We thought the times were exceptional before, but now they are truly exceptional. Humorously, we will probably be able to say this all year!
We are being challenged to our limits to either succumb to the Fear Mongers’ Agenda (FeMA), or to find the path of processing our fear and reintegrating with life.
The result of surrendering to the FeMA is a frozen inaction, which leads to enslavement, with the outlet from this frozen inaction being death. Another choice is to fight the FeMA, which engages them in their game and can also be a fight to the death, or at the very least a usurper of your attention. Clearly neither being frozen nor fighting is the choice we wish to make. If we are paying attention at all, these are not the choices we will make.
What we must face, however, in order not to make either of these choices, is in fact, our fear of living. This is not to be ignored. Life is intense! The way to process fear is to commit to actually feeling what living entails. Fortunately, we have been provided with a Divine Technology called a BODY. That is not an acronym. It is your Body! For real.
Your body is the fulcrum between the vastness of who you really are and this reality we inhabit on Gaia. Your body is a brilliant energy processor. Your body is the magnetic anchor for your spirit to express in this dimension.
All feeling is a function of energy moving through various configurations in the tissues and fields of your physical nature. Emotions are just simplified labeling of this complex chemical and energetic exchange. The Fear emotions (all the “negative” ones: anger, fear, grief, shame, etc.) result from constriction in the flow of energy due to the fear of the intensity of feeling. This energy must go somewhere: into compressed, stuck knots of chronic tension, and into the default of our thoughts highjacking this energy and creating stories and labels. Because this energy is not from the mental level, it cannot truly be processed in this realm. It can certainly be helpful to know the beliefs that keep the energy withheld, and to question and rework limiting beliefs. However, the contraction must be released in the body for real relief.
What is the process of processing your fear? Inelia Benz wisely says to just look at it. That is great if you can stay present and unresistant. The tools that promote that presence of attention are focus on the sensations of the body, release of tension, and letting the breath move with the energy, especially as the intensity starts to move. Attention and breath are your master tools. Hone their use by cultivating the warm ground of your body to naturally interact with them with curiosity and interest. All feelings are nourishing seeds that grow into strong presence given the light of your fearless attention, the soft reception in your tissues, and the warm breezes of your breath.
Give yourself plenty of time and practice and mercy. An attitude of playful, easy and experimental seriousness will carry you through.
